Summer Transportation Extravaganza Inspires Future Transportation Leaders

TBD National Center, in partnership with the National Center for Infrastructure Transformation, is proud to be a co-sponsor of the Summer Transportation Extravaganza hosted and organized by the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.

This week-long day program for rising high school juniors and seniors provides students an in-depth hands-on educational experience to explore how people and goods move through our world. The program includes an autonomous vehicle project, visits to Mesa Gateway Airport and the ADOT Transportation Operations Center, tours of research laboratories and engineering facilities, a Transportation Traffic Bowl competition, and final project presentations.

The Summer Transportation Extravaganza introduces students to exciting STEM career pathways in transportation, emerging technologies, and infrastructure systems, while helping inspire the next generation of transportation professionals and leaders.
